Founder/Director
Steve founded CMAC in 2007. Today he focuses on corporate and business development strategy, acquisitions and special projects, having led the company for 13 years. Steve started his career at Fraser Eagle in 2001 where he developed and managed their disruption management proposition before leaving to establish CMAC. Steve has been setting standards in his industry for 20 years.
Chief Executive Officer
Pete is Chief Executive Officer at CMAC having built the business with Steve since he joined in 2009. He has overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of all business units at CMAC and is instrumental to the continued growth. Pete started out in the sector in 2000 as an account manager at Fraser Eagle. He’s experienced across multiple roles including, sales, operations, contract negotiations, customer service, marketing and tender submissions.
Group CFO
Dave joined CMAC as CFO in March 2018 with responsibility for supply chain and operations. He is a chartered accountant with 12 years experience of working within both SME and Plc environments. Prior to joining CMAC, Dave was Group CFO at £50m+ turnover business RMS International. Here he gained experience working with private equity investor BGF who invested in early 2016.
Chief Operating Officer
As Chief Operating Officer, Neil is the driving force behind CMACs business strategy, ensuring the organisation is well-positioned to meet the growing demand from clients to service their needs globally. A qualified accountant, Neil joined us from Stagecoach Group, where he was Business Development Director. Neil has extensive commercial, customer delivery, strategy and project management expertise and experience; much of which is in the public transport sector. Neil oversees day-to-day operations across CMAC, ensuring that client requirements and their SLA's are met, whilst supporting with new business development to drive growth and profitability for the company.
Chief Technology Officer
Dan is Chief Technology Officer, having worked with CMAC for 10 years, joining the Board as CTO in 2017. He has over 27 years of experience in IT and systems development and is responsible for the design, development and maintenance of all aspects of CMAC’s bespoke in-house systems. Dan has a first class IT support and development team to help him ensure CMAC’s service delivery platform remains best in class.
Non-Executive Director
Neil is a Non-Executive Director at CMAC and has been on the Board since October 2013. He started his career in 1989 in marketing for a company in the rail industry in Scotland and has since held several senior positions in the rail industry. Prior to Neil’s involvement with CMAC, he was a Business Development Director at mytrainticket.co.uk and has been instrumental to CMAC’s growth in the rail sector.
Chairman
Denis was appointed chairman in July 2018. Denis brings strong sector credentials having being Chief Executive of Shearings Holidays between 2007 and 2016. Prior to Shearings, he held senior roles at National Express and Thomas Cook. Denis has also been a non-executive at Visit England, stepping down from his position as Chairman at the start of 2021.
Director of Corporate
Ashley has over ten years’ experience in ground transportation services and has built strong strategic relationships with many clients during this time due to his customer centric approach. As Director of Corporate, Ashley oversees the commercial teams and has proven capability in effective contract implementation and management. Ashley has a vast amount of experience across a broad range of industries. He has supported and managed many client contracts, particularly those that are complex, high intensity and demanding in the service that is delivered.
Director of Group Supply & Procurement
Dave joined CMAC in February 2022 to help drive the international expansion of the business. His role is to identify, lead and manage innovative approaches to solve logistical challenges for corporate and airline clients. With more than 15 years’ experience in the travel sector, Dave brings extensive knowledge, particularly in process improvement and automation, and product and growth strategies. Dave joined CMAC from AutoCab (an Uber Company) where he was Head of IGo - the travel platform and app that provides taxi and private hire firms with access to work from trip aggregators. Dave built the IGo Network from inception to a network of more than 450 fleets.
Head of IT Operations
Karen joined CMAC back in 2009 and has since built a wealth of experience working across the company. She is now Head of IT Operations and has successfully carried out a full overhaul of CMACs infrastructure, whilst playing an instrumental role in helping the company obtain ISO 27001, ISO 14001 and Cyber Essentials Plus accreditations. With a great passion for security, Karen is determined to obtain her CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) qualification in the near future.
Head of Sales
Leanne started her career in sales roles in the retail sector, before becoming business development manager for Sixt rent-a-car. She joined CMAC Group in 2018, via a company acquisition, and is now our Head of Sales. Leanne has successfully managed Business Travel requirements across a variety of clients for over nine years, she has proven capability to create value for Travel Management partners and is experienced in developing joint strategies to ensure the wellbeing of travellers. Leanne has a stellar reputation for her dynamic, charismatic approach to developing propositions that drive customer satisfaction for clients. She oversees a team of 4 business development executives and is responsible for business growth across all industries.
Head of Business Improvement
Rachel joined CMAC in 2017 as Head of Product and later earned a promotion to Head of Business Improvement. Rachel has over 20 years’ experience in Operational Management and has been pivotal in the development of CMACs suite of customer facing portals. She is passionate about innovation and the streamlining and digitising of processes, to enable organisations to deliver an exceptional and efficient customer experience.
Head of Operations, Greece, Cyprus and Turkey
Nick has 35 years experience in the aviation industry. Since joining CMAC Greece in 2018, he has been instrumental in developing CMAC's operations overseas to deliver the critical service for our clients. Prior to CMAC, Nick worked as a Flight Supervision Agent for Thomson Airlines, before becoming Aviation Director for TUI Hellas, where he looked after representation and flight disruptions for 9,000 flights per year on behalf of TUI and other third party customer airlines. Nick continued to oversee some of these customers when the company became independent in 2013, as Chapter Travel & Aviation UK Ltd. He was also responsible for providing ground support for all military and diplomatic flights of Great Britain and the RAF at all Greek airports. Nick has also been approved by HCAA on Ground Handling and Airline services, as Chapter Aviation.
Director of Group Operations
David joined CMAC in 2019 following the acquisition of Cabline UK. David has nearly 20 years operational and people management experience and has played a pivotal role in developing and expanding CMAC's UK based operations teams to ensure we continue to deliver the critical, on-demand services our clients require. He is also responsible for the management, development and growth of our European operational delivery teams based in Spain, Greece and Portugal.
Head of Sustainability
As Head of Sustainability, Amber is working to outline and enact CMACs sustainability plan. She has accomplished many great achievements since joining CMAC in 2008, initially pursuing a Business Admin NVQ, then Level 3 in Management and more recently graduating with MSc in Management from the University of Liverpool. In 2020, Amber also moved to Barcelona, where she assisted with the merging of CMACs acquisition, Aircinks.
Territory Manager of Portugal and France
Joao joined CMAC in September 2022, following the acquisition of Portuguese-based travel company Here & Dare. Joao has over 25 years' experience in the Travel Industry, working as an Airline Station Manager and DMC Management. He now oversees a growing team of experts based in Portugal. Joao's commercial and strategy skills are second to none, and he is well positioned to build relationships with suppliers and partners overseas, enabling CMAC to build a stronger presence internationally and further support our valued clients.
Group Financial Controller
Rob joined CMAC in 2019, following its acquisition of Cabline, to increase customer reach and diversify CMAC’s operations. Rob’s passion for financial development ensures the effective management and growth of the company. He has recently travelled to Barcelona, to work alongside the European team to identify ways we can improve financially overseas. Prior to CMAC, Rob graduated with a first-class degree in Accountancy at Northumbria University and worked as a Management Accountant.
