CMAC Group is excited to announce our Road Safety Poster Design Competition in support of Brake Charity’s Road Safety Week (19th-25th November 2023).

The competition, designed for primary schools across the United Kingdom, aims to inspire young students to express their creativity while promoting the crucial message of road safety.

The theme for the competition is "Slow Down for Safety"

Our competition revolves around the theme "Slow Down for Safety," underlining the importance of reducing speed on the roads to enhance safety for all.

We believe that promoting responsible road behaviour starts at an early age, and this competition hopes to encourage the youngest members of our communities to recognise the importance of road safety.

How to participate:

Primary schools are encouraged to involve all year groups in this initiative.

We want to encourage students to unleash their artistic talents and design one A4 poster, freehand, on plain paper. The poster should reflect the theme "Slow Down for Safety".

Entries should be collected by the teacher then scanned and submitted digitally via email to competitions@cmacgroup.com. For those with larger file sizes, we also accept submissions through WeTransfer. Please ensure that all submissions reach us by the competition deadline, which is set for December 13, 2023, at 5:00 PM.

What are the prizes?

The winners will be rewarded as follows:

1st Prize: £50 Waterstones vouchers

2nd Prize: £25 Waterstones vouchers

3rd Prize: £10 Waterstones vouchers

To ensure fairness, the panel will consider the ages of the participants. Please include the year group along with the student's name when submitting entries.

We also have a special reward for the 1st prize winner’s school: £250 Waterstones vouchers

These prizes aim to inspire and promote reading, learning, and road safety awareness among the participants.

Announcement and recognition:

The winners of the Road Safety Poster Design Competition will be officially announced on December 20, 2023, through the entry email.

The results will also be shared on CMAC Group's social media channels. Winning schools will receive public recognition and tags on social media, and their achievements will also be highlighted in CMAC Group's press releases. Rest assured, no identifying details of the participating children will be disclosed, ensuring the privacy and security of all entrants.

Our commitment to Road Safety:

This competition is part of CMAC Group's unwavering commitment to promoting road safety and raising awareness about the importance of responsible road behaviour. By involving classes in primary schools throughout the UK, CMAC Group hopes to foster a culture of safety and mindfulness among the youngest members of our community.
