CMAC Group has won a national award recognising its reliable solutions and expertise.

Known for supplying time-critical ground transport on behalf of big-brand clients, CMAC Group won the ‘aggregator of the year’ award at the inaugural UK Taxi Summit Awards, beating five other organisations to take the title.

The judging panel, which included industry veterans, felt that CMACs role in safely moving two million+ passengers a year and often in challenging circumstances is ‘unrivalled’.

They were also impressed with the ‘collaborative approach CMAC takes with its supply chain to ensure clients needs are consistently met’.

Speaking on behalf of CMAC, CEO Peter Slater said, “This award means so much to the entire team, the joined-up approach that we take with suppliers ensures that we can deliver unrivalled solutions for all of our clients.”

He also added that this award was particularly meaningful because the team and its suppliers have continued to provide a dependable service throughout the pandemic ensuring that CMAC clients are always able to move people safely and efficiently.

“To be recognised for our dependability and best-in-class solutions during such a challenging period for all businesses is phenomenal.”

The business was founded in 2007 by Steve Turner who recognised a need for round-the-clock managed travel solutions. Today, CMAC boasts an extensive network of approved and certified suppliers to handle any scale or level of complexity anywhere in the world. That’s why they are the go-to provider for planned and emergency travel requirements.

The work of CMAC Group is relied upon by numerous sectors, whether that be large-scale airline passenger rescues, specialist crew and driver transport on behalf of rail companies or emergency resident relocation services for councils.

CMAC Group operates 365 days a year and clients have access to a 24-hour contact centre.
