With over half a century of combined industry experience, these dynamic organisations are trusted by thousands of motorists and commercial clients nationwide.

Egertons and its subsidiaries offer a range of services - from roadside repair to specialist assistance and breakdown recovery, across the UK and Europe.

The Challenge

Prior to partnering with CMAC, Egertons Recovery Group faced the complexity of managing multiple suppliers and administrative overheads associated with coordinating travel for breakdown passengers and fleet drivers. They required:

As an expert in facilitating onward travel solutions with 18+ years experience, we have provided critical support to Egertons Recovery Group, for passengers affected by breakdowns or incidents and coordinating driver movements to ensure operational continuity.

As part of this collaboration, CMAC Group introduced Egertons Recovery to their well-established, comprehensive and fully integrated travel management solution, tailored to meet the specific needs of the client:

  • Onward Travel Support: Seamless coordination of journeys for passengers impacted by vehicle breakdowns and accidents.
  • Driver Movement Assistance: Multinational coverage ensures drivers can be efficiently relocated and mobilised to support operations.
  • Streamlined Booking: Whether made directly through our online portal, or manually over the phone, CMAC’s ability to service each booking requirement remains paramount – all whilst enabling real-time updates to ensure passenger safety.
  • Single Monthly Invoice: Consolidated billing for all accounts, removing administrative burdens of managing multiple suppliers and providing transparent cost tracking.
  • 24/7/365 Operations Team: Immediate support during emergencies or peak demand times, leveraging a vast UK-wide and European supplier network for optimal coverage.


In 2024 alone, CMAC successfully coordinated a multitude of journeys across the three client accounts, gaining an incredible passenger satisfaction rate of 100%, with zero service issues across the group - demonstrating the reliability and quality of service delivered.

Notably, 83% of all journeys were emergency bookings with under 30 minutes notice. Only 17% were planned bookings, with an average notice time which sits between 30-60 minutes. This highlights the reactive nature of the client's operations and CMAC’s agility in responding quickly and effectively when support is most urgently needed.

Additionally, we recently worked closely with their account manager to establish a combined, competitive contract, delivering greater value across all business areas.
