How we do it

Our dedicated planning team imports crew diagrams (LTP and STP) on behalf of clients to auto-create bookings and assign suppliers. This intelligent system is bespoke to CMAC and offers a cost-cutting alternative to in-house solutions.

We have the capability to configure the system in order to maximise taxi share opportunities, utilise appropriate vehicle types and create bookings with correct cost centres automatically.

Clients may also request a pre-journey analysis that can be split by cost centre or depot. With a dedicated planning team, we’re able to override the system and react quickly to last-minute amends, cancellations or crew additions.

How do you manage crew safety?
CMACs fully managed service provides a safe and compliant transfer to help safeguard your staff. Our dedicated compliance team ensures that all CMAC partners are fully compliant against our strict requirements. Alongside this we employ regional managers whose role focuses solely on visiting suppliers to audit vehicles, premises, records and verify their continued customer-centricity. CMAC vehicles are also tracked by a dedicated 24/7 UK-based operational centre.
Are we able to make last minute changes to the schedule?
Yes. We accept changes up to the time of dispatch; however, this may be subject to charges. For further advice please complete the form on this page and a member of our dedicated team will be in touch.
Can I book a private hire taxi in advance?
You can book a car or minibus as far in advance as you like. Where possible, we do ask for a minimum of 1 hour notice for advanced bookings, however we are always able to accommodate on-demand transport.
How do rail crew book on-demand taxis?
Using the CMAC portal, crew can quickly schedule transport from their location. Simply login, using any device, and complete the relevant information such as pick-up location, destination, and preferred dates/times (including ‘ASAP’).
